Little did I know,

Little did I know that it were only the walls that I saw,

When I was looking at her excruciatingly pretty self,

The guards were held high and the roads were intricate,

Tried many a times, only to be retracing the footsteps,

The looks she gave, were as cold as snow,

Little did I know they would also melt,

Held upon the hands, and the flecks would disappear,

As would the walls, and the guards she kept.

Little did I know that she had a heart of gold,

Unmoved by the bravest and unseen by the greatest,

With a courage gathered over the years,

And a heart toughened by the scars that were left,

Holding the Halley’s comet

A thing of beauty and a bundle of joy, amidst the coldness that it had, the Halley’s was around. Everybody knew but nobody had the guts ...
